Welcome back!
Hello everyone and welcome back to another wonderful school year! Summer is almost done, the leaves are changing, and the weather will be shortly cooling down. My name is Amanda Mesenbring. I am back for my second year with TCU as the K8 art teacher. Some exciting things are happening in the art room this year!
The art room got a bit of a face lift this summer. We got a brand new floor, two more tables, and a brand new kiln will be put in shortly. The room looks fantastic so stop in to see it during open house if you have a moment to make the trek.
The layout is currently under construction. I have only had two days to get into the classroom and really work on the set up. Stay tuned for pictures of the finished product!
Finally, I am happy to announce that 7th grade will have art for this year! It was quite the endeavor for Mrs. Dwyer to figure out my schedule for this year, but she did a great job getting things in order!
I look forward to working with every single student at Monty K8 this year! It'll be an awesome adventure!
